Fire Rated Glass Block Systems

Fire rated glass blocks are an effective solution to allowing light into multi-unit projects and in building on small plot sizes. However, glass blocks are only fire rated compliant if they are installed correctly in accordance to the tests that were performed in Europe and to CSIRO opinions. It is therefore imperative that the installers have been trained specifically for fire rated glass block applications as the glass blocks, reinforcing, joint sizing and fixing details differ to normal installations, in order to be issued with the conformity certificate.

Free Standing Glass Block Systems

Glass Block Constructions are able to build free standing glass block panels (without the aluminium frame). GBC can expertly & safely install glass blocks in Bars, Bathroom Shower Screens and partition walls, in external and internal applications. There are a range of edging finishes to designed to keep the Glass Block Panel aesthetically pleasing. Free Standing Panels can be installed using either the Ezylay Silicone System or Ezylay Mortar System depending on the height and width of the panel.

Curved Framing Systems

Installing curved glass block panels has never been easier. Glass Block Technologies International has developed a unique patented system, which has interlocking components that allow installation of curved and serpentine glass block panels of any radius. This eliminates the need for laborious cutting or rolling of aluminium framework. Curved glass block panels are a fantastic way to maximise space in the bathroom for shower screens.
